Masterbatch
Portfolio
Color Masterbatches are used to color natural resins directly at the injection molding machine, reducing the total cost of coloring. Our partner Dainichiseika Color Chemical Mfg has more than 70 years in pigment manufacturing and preparation. With more than 300 engineers worldwide, we are able to match the color shade that you need !
We can offer color masterbatches in different strength (generally from 1% up to 10%), several color shades (RAL, Pantone, MIL, custom culor) and based on the resin of your choice:
Fluorinated ethylene propylene or FEP is a melt processable copolymer of hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene. FEP melts at about 260°C and its continuous operating temperature is about 205°C. FEP is mainly used for Wire & Cables jacketing, Molded Connectors, Molded Labware...
Perfluoroalkoxy alkanes or PFA is a melt processable fluoropolymer with similar properties than PTFE. The melting point ranges from 290°C up to 315°C and the service temperature is 260°C. Due to its chemical structure, PFA is creep resistant and has good flowability and thermal rsistance making it a material of choice for mainly used for Wire & Cables jacketing, medical applications, molded Labware...
ETFE is a fluoropolymer with excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The melting point is about 260°C and the service temperature is lower than PFA and FEP, at around 170°C. It's a resin of choice for architectural films, optical cable, medical applications, molded Labware, pump and valves...
PVDF is a fluoropolymer with good chemical and mechanical properties. The melting point is about 177°C and the service temperature is lower than ETFE, at around 140°C. PVDF is easily processed by conventional equipment like extrusion and injection molding compared to other fluoropolymers.
It's a resin of choice for pipes, fittings, medical applications, molded Labware, pump and valves...
PEEK is a high performance thermoplastics with melting point of about 340°C and a service temperature of 260°C. It has excellent mechanical propertes even at high temperature. Its chemical is excellent although not as good as those of fluoropolymers.
PEEK is widely used in gears, medical applications, pump and valves...
Polysulfones are amorphous high performance thermoplastics with very high Tg and have excellent mechanical properties up to their Tg. Their have excellent hydrolysis stability, making them a resin of choice for plumbary, fittings, medical applications, trays, ump...
PEI ior polyetherimid s amorphous high performance thermoplastics with very high Tg (216°C). It has excellent mechanical properties up to their Tg and excellent hydrolysis stability, making it a resin of choice for aerospace, medical applications, pumps...
